Reliquary and Monstrance, XVII Century, Sienese manufacturing.

Wooden moulded base, engraved pedestal with the shape of an acanthus leaf and cherub heads. The upper metal foil is attached to the pedestal with nails. In the centre of the metal foil there is a small polygonal shrine. The golden metal foil is decorated with a floral motif. There is a small angel on each side and a heraldic cross on the top. The cartouche reads: “S.Benignus M.”.
