Grand Piano, end of XIX Century, Viennese manufacturer Alois Kern.

This is a three-legged piano with wheeled baluster legs and round moulded borders. At the top, a round, tapered wood piece supports a moulded surface. The flat surface is held on top of a curvilinear band and decorated with a light engraving. The round panel on the front of the piano has a moulded border. The side bands are decorated with engravings and wavy furrows. The inscription on the vertical front of the piano, above the keyboard, reads:   "WELTAUSSTELLUNG 1873/ VERDIENTS MEDAILLE/ SILBERNE MEDAILLE/ PARIS/ WERTAUSSTELLUNG 1878/ ALOIS KERN/ WIEN".
